Local-first core
PCM is designed so that core collection management works with data on your device. An account is not required for the core organizing experience.
Private Workspace
Private Workspace is a distinct area intended to isolate private collection material from normal browsing. Device access and backup practices still matter.
Image attachments and backups
Attached files and collection records need the same deliberate backup protection as other important local data. Release documentation will describe supported backup and migration paths.
Optional AI-assisted refinement
AI assistance is optional, not part of the core requirement. Before enabling a connected AI workflow, review what content is sent, which provider processes it, and the provider's retention terms.
Release-time review
This overview will be reviewed against the actual release build before publication. It does not invent policies for features that are not yet public.
